At MacLure Designs, we strive to provide you with high-quality, handmade items, custom wallpaper prints, and bespoke commissions. We understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, and we are committed to offering a fair and transparent policy in line with UK consumer law. Please read this policy carefully to understand how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Your Legal Rights Under UK Law

2. Returns & Refunds for Handmade Products
Our handmade products are crafted with care and are unique to each order. Due to their bespoke nature, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind, but we do ensure that you are covered if there is an issue with the item.

Faulty or Damaged Items:
If your handmade item arrives damaged or faulty, you are entitled to a full refund or a replacement under UK consumer law.-
Contact us within 30 days of receiving the item.

Provide clear photos of the damage or fault, including images of the packaging (if damaged during shipping).

Once the issue is confirmed, we will either:

Provide a replacement at no extra cost, or

We will cover the return shipping costs for faulty or damaged handmade items.

Incorrect Orders:
If you receive the wrong handmade item (e.g., wrong design, size, or colour), please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We will offer either:-
A replacement of the correct item at no extra cost, or

Change of Mind:
Due to the custom nature of our handmade items, we cannot accept returns for change of mind unless the product is faulty or incorrect. Please carefully review all product details before placing your order.
3. Returns & Refunds for Wallpaper Prints
All our wallpaper prints are made to order and printed on demand by a third-party printing partner. This means returns for wallpaper prints are subject to specific conditions.

4. Returns & Refunds for Commissioned Work
Commissioned works (including bespoke art, design, and tailored products) are created specifically for you and are therefore subject to special rules.

Faulty or Damaged Commissioned Work:
If your commissioned work is damaged or faulty upon arrival, we will offer a full refund or replacement as per UK consumer law.-
Contact us within 30 days of receiving the commissioned piece.

Incorrect Commissioned Work:
If your commissioned work does not match what was agreed upon (e.g., design, size, or details), please contact us within 14 days of receiving the order. We will either:-
Revise or amend the commissioned work, or

Offer a full refund, including any delivery charges.

Change of Mind on Commissioned Work:
Commissioned items are considered bespoke and are made specifically for you. As such, they are not eligible for a return or refund unless the item is faulty, damaged, or does not meet the agreed-upon specifications.-

5. How to Return an Item
If you need to return an item (whether a handmade product, wallpaper print, or commissioned work), please follow these steps:

Contact us within 30 days (for faulty or damaged items) or 14 days (for incorrect items).

Email us at info@macluredesigns.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the item and/or packaging.

Once we confirm the issue, we will provide you with return instructions.

Return the item in its original condition and packaging (if applicable).
6. Refund Process
Once we receive your returned item and confirm the issue (whether it is faulty, damaged, or incorrect), we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method, and typically, it takes 10-14 business days to process.
If the return is for a faulty or incorrect item, we will also refund the original shipping charges.
7. Shipping and Delivery
We are not responsible for any delays or issues caused by the courier once the product is dispatched.
