Linear Drawings and Paintings
As a starting point for my MA, I knew I was interested in nature and biophilia. I am drawn to nature, growing up in Urban settings and places in nature that gives me 'awe' such as mountains, waterfalls and beaches. I started drawing biophilia from places I had visited, which captured me.

Initially, I started drawing simple motifs and linear drawings of places I had visited and tried to capture some of the awe I experienced in the drawings. I was inspired by places like Barbican Conservatory in London, leaves I made leaves out of newspaper and wire, and places that I have visited while travelling in Australia as a starting point.

As I developed my theme and research, I started to focus on designing an Immersive Environment based on the Awe-inspiring nature I had seen. I focused initially on two places:
-Devils Pulpit - a Gorge in Scotland
-Loch Avon in the Cairngorm mountain range - Scotland.

I have also taken some inspiration from parks and nature around me to add additional motifs to my collection to use in my environments.
