I'm Lauren Maclure, the founder of MacLure Designs.

With a background in account management and a Master's in Surface Pattern and Textiles, I bring together creative thinking, technical design skills and a strong understanding of building meaningful relationships. I'm passionate about designing spaces and products that enhance wellbeing, drawing inspiration from nature through the principles of biophilic design and my own experiences of awe.

My work explores how thoughtful design can create environments that are not only beautiful but also improve the way people feel and connect with their surroundings. From bespoke furniture and surface pattern design to interior concepts and technical drawings, I enjoy transforming ideas into carefully considered designs.

As my practice continues to grow, I'm developing a portfolio of original work while exhibiting my designs within the hospitality and interiors industry. In October, I'll be exhibiting at the Independent Hotel Show in London, presenting my innovative designs that reflect my passion for pattern, tactility and immersive spaces.
